In the game of Craps, the roll of the dice is what players bet on. You can find some craps rules in this page.
The game uses a pair of dice with six sides. The player who tosses the dice is called the shooter. All the players at the table have the chance of rolling the dice. After each new round, the dice are being passed counterclockwise. And in every start of a new round, a pair of dice is chosen by the shooter.
A line bet should be made by the shooter, he can choose between don’t pass line or on the pass line. Bets are also made by the other players on the table. In the beginning of the round, the shooter rolls out the dice to the table’s opposite wall. The first roll made by the shooter is referred to as the come-out roll.
The Come-Out Roll
When 7 or 11 is the come-out roll, the pass line bet are declared as the winners while the don’t pass bets are the losers. The round is ended with this scenario.
When 2,3 or 12 (or craps) is the some-out roll, The pass line bets become the losers while the don’t pass line are either tied or becomes the winner. With 12 as the come-out roll, that is when a tie happens.
When 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is the come-out roll, the point for that player is that particular number. A puck on that specific number being rolled out is being placed by the dealers at the table. Until the shooter is able to crap out by rolling a 7 or rolls the point number, that player continues to roll the dice. The don’t pass bets emerge as winners while the pass line bets are the losers when 7 is rolled before the point number. But if the point number is rolled, the don’t pass wagers lose and the pass line wagers win.
Craps Rules – Types of Bets:
Pass Line
It is the easiest bet to make in the game of craps. It is a bet made on 7 or 11 as the come-out roll result. You will double your money if the come-out roll is 7 or 11. You lose your pass line bet when the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12 (craps). You also lose when there is an established point and 7 is rolled out before the point value.
Don’t Pass Line
You are basically placing your bet against the shooter if you make a don’t pass bet. These bets are the opposite of pass line. You would like the come-out roll to be 2, 3 or 12. You will also want 7 to be rolled out by the shooter before they reach the established point.
Come bets
It is similar to a pass line bet but they are made after there has been an established point.
Don’t Come Bets
These bets are opposite to that of come bets. When 2 or 3 is rolled by the shooter after there has been an established point, the don’t come bets are going to win.
Sucker bets
These are the bets that players should avoid because it will cause a shortened craps session and your bankroll won’t last for long.
